Dr. Chris Frederickson, PhD
Dr. Chris Frederickson, a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Chicago, serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Gold Flex Life Sciences, Inc. Beginning his career on the faculty of Carnegie Mellon he proceeded to become a Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Texas Dallas from 1975 to 1999. In 1999, he joined the University of Texas Medical School – Galveston and has led successful collaborations with MD Anderson Cancer Center, Johns Hopkins and MIT. Dr. Frederickson discovered the zinc-secreting nerve cells of the brain in 1983 and is acknowledged as the leading authority on zinc in the world.
Dr. Robert McLauchlan, MD, JD
Dr. Robert McLauchlan, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, University of Texas at Austin School of Law, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Gold Flex Life Sciences, Inc. Formerly a nuclear engineer serving on board submarines in the United States Navy, he was retained with high tech and start-ups as an intellectual property attorney prior to attending medical school.
Dr. Gorm Danscher, MD
Professor Emeritus, Dr. Med., University of Aarhus, Denmark, Professor Danscher is a world famous pioneer of heavy metal detection in microscopy. Professor Danscher was a professor at the Neurobiological Institute of Aarhus University (1988-2008) in Denmark and also served as the Dean, Dean and Head of Department, respectively. He has developed methods for the histochemical detection of gold, silver, mercury, bismuth and zinc in human and animal tissues and has written 235 articles on the distribution and effect of these metals. In recent years, he has been especially focused on science related to metallic gold.
Dr. Sten Rasmussen, MD
Dr. Sten Rasmussen is a medical doctor at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Aalborg University Hospital in Denmark and the director of the Orthopedic Surgery Research Unit at Aalborg University Hospital. Dr. Rasmussen earned his medical degree from Aarhus University and Ph.D. from Aalborg University. His thesis is entitled Multimodal Pain Management after Arthroscopic Surgery.
Dr. Gregers Gregersen, DVM
Gregers Gregersen is a small animal veterinarian and the owner of Gold Treat. Gold Treat Clinics in Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Norway and Sweden have treated thousands of dogs and horses for osteoarthritis since 2005 based on research at the Universities of Aarhus and Aalborg in Denmark. He is a graduate of the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University. Dr. Gregersen has been working with the Gold Flex team since initial research and trials.
